A laptop and a projector will be
available in all session rooms. The presenting
author may bring his/her own laptop or use the one
provided by the conference.
The conference laptop will be
equipped with Windows 7 and MS Office Power point.
In the case when the conference laptop is used, the
presenting author should prepare and save his/her
presentation in a USB storage device in a format
that is readable by PowerPoint 2007. The presenting
author should transfer their files to the provided
laptop in the venue of their presentation as early
as possible. Preferable times are during tea, lunch
and inter-session breaks. A student volunteer will
be available to assist the presenters.
The presenting authors are requested
to submit a short biography (less than 10 lines,
printed copy) to the Session Chair, 5 minutes before
the beginning of the session. Your biography should
include at least your title, name and affiliation.
Instructions for Poster Presenters
The conference will provide each
poster presentation a board of size 94cm (wide) by
188cm (height). The suggested size of poster is 90cm
(W) and less than 150 cm (H).
The necessary mounting tools, e.g.
Velcro tape, will be available on-site. Posters are
to be put up according to the numbering on the
poster panels (and also given in the conference
programme).
Authors should be present during the
poster session to explain their study and to answer
questions. A few (2-5) numbers of Best Poster
Paper will be selected from each category in
each poster session. Evaluation will be based on the
content of the poster as well as the interactions
between the authors and the judges. Therefore, at
least one of the authors is expect to be present
nearby the poster throughout the poster session.
Winners of the best poster award will be announced
by the end of each poster session and a formal
certificate from the APCChE Organization committee
will be issued at the same time.
Posters must be removed after the
poster sessions.
